My team has two standup daily, one at 11 and another at 2.30. 

And the most funny thing is sometime these standup runs for 1 hour and we even have lunch at 1. I mean really it seems messed up. 😶

By 12 we are free from standup, hardly get the work rhythm from 12 to 1 and then lunch and after that within 30 minutes there would be next standup.

Is this toxic?? ☠️

Back in 2020 while working with an agency, I was handling a team of 7. I somehow managed to build a very close-knit, happy team. Every morning I would arrive at work and start the day with laughter on a positive note. 

I was called to the founder's cubicle and one of my managers told me to not laugh so loudly with my team as it ruined the decorum of the office. It made me look like their buddy and not the manager. I apologized and never spoke about it with anyone until now.

This exp. has made me realize that we can't always trust what we see on social media or hear from companies themselves.

I am working in a startup with a good culture and earning really well. There is hardly a month very nothing happening and my life has not been peaceful for the last 8 years. One after another event continuously things makes me go through a lot of pain and mental trauma.

From Oct 27 I was out of problems and felt i could celebrate my birthday peacefully but life didn't spare this moment for me.

My father is sick and has to go for surgery. I feel like giving up. How long one should fight with life for peace. I am not able to hold it anymore.

So recently my workplace has shifted to a timeclock through an app. ⏰
As a result of that, and the fact that I can either be 10 minutes early or 5 minutes late to work because of how traffic is, I've been shaving bits of overtime, because I clock in early. 
Well, I just got an email from my boss saying I can't clock in early or leave late without prior approval for overtime. 

Alright, no extra productivity for you then. I will sit in my car for 10 minutes until it is time to begin work. I will drop everything I'm doing the second my 8 hours is up. 😤
